To tell you the truth, I’m not just a clinical nutritionist. I’m a normal person, a wife, and a mother who has dealt with sudden and chronic skin and health issues before. In fact, here’s my story:
I started my health journey with the birth of my first son. During this time, I suffered routinely from headaches, migraines, fatigue, lack of energy, and chronic anemia. I didn’t know what was wrong. Coffee and supplements wouldn’t help.
After changing my diet, I began to feel better and more energized. My husband and I even lost some weight. This experience changed my life, and I consider it to be one of the best decisions I ever made.
In 2015 my skin started to break out, and after several unsuccessful rounds of steroid creams, I decided to create a skin protocol that helped me clear my skin within just a few weeks.
Yep! This is me back then…
I truly believe that nutrition is the key solution to most health problems, and it can be your solution as well.

You need to use expensive creams.
As much as I’m not opposed to prescribed creams and/or cosmetic products, nutrition can provide a holistic and permanent solution that will save you hundreds of dollars on those fancy creams and lotions.

Nope! Sorry, but not everything online is going to work for you. This is why the assessment stage is so important to identify all the roadblocks in your way to achieving a healthier look and feel.

Although some dermatologists would say that skin inflammation isn’t related to anything but your skin, most chances are that it is the result of what you introduce to your body – SEVERAL TIMES A DAY! (that is food, I mean).

To get you feeling and looking better, we will need to eliminate the things that contribute to your current issues. These could be a mindset, foods, or other potential environmental factors that trigger inflammation and craving. This is when we focus on specific foods and eating behaviors changes.

This is when we work on giving your body everything that it needs to strengthen your immune system, balance your hormones, improve gut health, and support all the systems in your body (including the largest organ in your body - the skin). You also learn to understand what your body is telling you and how to protect it.

Real change doesn’t come just from knowing what to do. Your relationship with food is probably the biggest key to sustainable change. Hey! I’m Your Host. I’m a clinical nutritionist, a coach, and the founder and owner of Fabulous Healing Nutrition & Wellness. I started Fabulous Healing Nutrition & Wellness to help my clients discover the key to a healthy life and radiant skin through healthy eating. I have a Master of Science in Nutrition from the National University of Natural Medicine. I am a Board-Certified Nutrition Specialist licensed in Washington and Oregon by the State Department of Health. I am also a proud member of the American Nutrition Association. Additionally, I have a certification in plant-based nutrition from eCornell.

- Those who are looking for a magic solution or a quick fix. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all nutritional approach. Everyone is different and has their own nutritional goals, and it takes some patience to find your unique path (not too much patience, but it won’t be like waving a magic wand).
- Those who are focused just on losing weight. Yes, you will probably shed some pounds during this process, and I can throw a list of at least 10 tips at you on how to lose 10 lbs in less than 4 weeks, but if we don’t address the real and deeper issues, you will gain those 10 lbs very quickly and probably few extra more.
- Those who care about look only. Just because you look better doesn’t mean you feel better. My methods are based on the goals of helping you feel and look at your best. So how you look on the outside reflects the way you feel on the inside.
A couple more things:
While I love whole, plant-based food and it’s included in a lot of my strategies, you don’t have to eat this kind of food if you don’t want to become a vegan or vegetarian. I will always respect your dietary preferences
You also don’t have to be the best cook or spend hours in the kitchen when practicing your meal plans. In fact, you’ll learn just how quick and fun it is to prepare healthy meals at your home.
